Donate to Moon's Post-Op Care and Recovery

Hello community!

I am feeling deeply gracious to be able to access a much needed revision to my previous chest/top surgery to be able to feel at home in my body with my intended outcome. As a low-income person, it's hard to take time off of work at all, let alone for the full month it will take me to recover from surgery. Though, in the current political climate I am not sure when I will be able to access it if I don't take my chance now!

I am scheduled to have surgery on April 11th, 2025. While the cost of the surgery is covered, I will be unable to work (if you know me you know I do physical labor as a caregiver and a dog walker), lift 20lbs, or raise my hands above my head for a whole month. I have made this Gofundme in the hopes that I may raise some funds to help with covering rent/utilities for at least a month as well as post-op meals and other surgery aftercare items that may be needed. The recommended total goal I am listing is an overshoot and would help cover my expenses for up to 2 months, but it is not an expectation and *any* donated amount helps me immensely.
