Honoring His Life
Hannah and Dylan are a loving, humble young couple who have touched countless hearts both locally and across TikTok and various social media platforms. Earlier this fall, they welcomed their first and only son, Baby Waylon, at just 31 weeks. He fought so bravely through his NICU journey in Galveston, TX, over two hours from home, while Hannah and Dylan juggled travel, expenses, and caring for their five daughters, including their oldest, who is medically fragile, wheelchair-bound, and fully dependent on 24/7 supportive care.
After weeks of prayers and milestones, Waylon finally came home at the end of October. His family spent beautiful, cherished days holding him, loving him, and celebrating every second they were blessed to have.
On November 20th, Baby Waylon unexpectedly gained his angel wings.
His passing was sudden, devastating, and unimaginable.
Hannah shared that Waylon’s funeral will be held in mid-December in their hometown in central Texas. His ashes will be brought home this Monday (12/01), and she has been lovingly planning every detail to make his services perfect and honoring.
One of the most important things to this family is creating a permanent, peaceful place to visit him—a memorial spot at home with a beautiful headstone, landscaping, and a small garden where they can sit with him day or night. A place for his sisters to bring flowers, talk to him, and feel close to their baby brother.
As many people don’t realize, headstones and memorial setups are unexpectedly expensive, and even simple markers can cost anywhere from $1,200–$3,000, with more personalized or upright stones often reaching $4,000–$7,000+. Professional installation, engraving, and the materials to create a landscaped space add even more.
Hannah and Dylan would never ask for help; in fact, they feel guilty even considering it, but the truth is they’ve already endured so much. Between NICU travel, time away from work, funeral costs, and caring for their daughters through this heartbreak, the financial strain is heavy.
This GoFundMe was created out of love to help:
Create Baby Waylon’s headstone
Build a peaceful memorial garden at their home
Support their daughters through Christmas after losing their baby brother
Ease the financial strain of funeral, travel, and time away from work
Allow this family room to grieve without added burdens
Every donation goes directly to ensuring Waylon is honored with the dignity, beauty, and tenderness he deserves and giving his sisters a place where they can always feel close to him.
If you cannot donate, sharing or sending a kind message truly means the world to them.
Thank you for loving Hannah, Dylan, their daughters, and sweet Baby Waylon through this unimaginable loss.
