Support Maggie Ascolillo in Her ALS Journey

Maggie was diagnosed with ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, one year ago in May 2024. What began as a puzzling, painless limp led to this shattering diagnosis. ALS is a cruel, unrelenting neurodegenerative disease in which the body’s muscles slowly weaken, including those used to move, swallow, talk, and ultimately breathe.

Maggie has been shouldering all of this with grace and fortitude. Gratefully (though reluctantly!), she has finally agreed to let us start fundraising efforts to alleviate some of the stress of covering expenses such as her mortgage, home healthcare, medical equipment, a wheelchair van lease, home modifications, etc. All contributions, regardless of size, are welcome and greatly appreciated.
