Hi, my name is Sohni and I am fundraising for my mom's cancer treatment. My mom is living in India and recently she is diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. My family and I have been going through a tough phase of our life. Cancer has metastasized into both her lungs and for the treatments, she will need extensive radiation/ chemotherapies. Cancer treatments are very expensive (regardless of the type of cancer), and my family and I can only partially afford the cost of treatment. The most effective treatment that her doctor recommended is going to cost 6 times the standard chemotherapy cost. I am requesting my friends & family to help me to get the funds together, so my mother can have the best treatment possible and fight this disease. My mother is one of the strongest women I know and equally very positive while she is going through this treatment but as a daughter, it hurts to see how the disease is deteriorating her health drastically.

I will take this opportunity to thank you all for your prayers and the kind donation for my mother for her cancer treatment. After a series of 6 advanced immunotherapies which ended in January, Doctor's had a CT scan on her to see the progress of the medication a few weeks ago.

By God's grace and all your prayers, my mother has responded well to the medication and her tumor has shrunk by almost 40%. When my mother started her therapy, the size of the tumor was almost 90% which has now been reduced to 50%. I, Sanil and my family cannot thank you all enough for all your support and prayers.

I wanted to update you all on my mother's progress on the treatment and as she continues with more series of advanced immunotherapy for the next few months, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and please spread the word with any of your close family and friends to support us on this journey.
