Help Mike and Taunya

Hi, my name is Adrienne Gruber and I’m a close friend of Mike Harris and Taunya Staffen.

As some of you know, Mike and Taunya’s 14-year-old daughter Branwyn Rose was diagnosed with a very rare cancer last fall.

Rose underwent major surgery and received six months of chemotherapy treatments which finished in April. As hard as this was on their family, they recently received the frightening news that more tumours have grown since Rose’s chemo ended.

Rose has had two surgeries in the last week, the second one being a major abdominal surgery. She will start another round of chemo immediately.

This family has been through so much in the last ten months, and now they are facing a great deal of scary unknowns.

My hope is that the money we raise together can alleviate any financial pressure they may be feeling right now, and let them take as much time off of work as they can to be with Rose.

Mike and Tanya are profoundly private people; they don’t know about this fundraiser. I’d like to keep it quiet until, hopefully, our goal is reached.

If this is the first you are hearing about Rose, please know that they are under an enormous amount of stress and are unlikely to be able to respond to messages at the moment.
