I am reaching out to raise funds for my cousin Karen who has suffered a spinal cord injury and is in need of wheelchair.

Karen has worked as a compassionate and committed Personal support Worker for over 25 years in the Sudbury area. If you know Karen , you know she has given her whole life to helping people. She has a heart of gold and has always put other people before herself. Her beautiful smile and sunny outlook has brought a Ray of sunshine to so many people when they needed it most.

Now Karen needs help herself. She has recently under gone back and neck surgery resulting in the loss of the use of her legs, and most of the strength in her arms. It’s heartbreaking for her and all of us that love Karen. If there is any one that deserves a break it is my sweet sweet cousin Karen.

An electric wheelchair costs about 10,000 and would give Karen back priceless freedom. This new chapter will have many challenges to overcome. Mobility will help Karen meet them with her usual sunny outlook.

Karen is presently in the hospital waiting on long term care placement. If you can help support Karen in any amount , we would be forever grateful!
