Cancer Treatment Expenses

In November 2022, my husband Jerry was diagnosed with Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer. After months of being treated for stomach ulcers and a hiatal hernia, Jerry's symptoms worsened. During his endoscopy, a 4" tumor was discovered. When he was severely dehydrated, and couldn't swallow any liquids or foods he was rushed to the ER. Once he was admitted to the hospital a perforation was located in his esophagus in the same location as his tumor. That same week he underwent a life-threatening surgery that resulted in the partial removal of his esophagus, lymph nodes, and his tumor. As of February 2023, JD is still experiencing setbacks post-surgery. His voice box hasn't healed properly so he isn't able to speak and needs a weekly esophageal dilation to keep his esophagus open enough to eat. On 2/17 he underwent another surgery to have his port inserted to start treatment. Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated.
