Five years ago, Harrison—affectionately known as Harry—came bounding into Sandy’s life. Harry wasn’t just a dog; he was a burst of light, a steady heartbeat, and a constant source of joy. For Sandy, he became a dopamine high for her soul—a living, breathing reminder of love, loyalty, and the simple happiness found in a wagging tail.
When Harry’s mom moved away, Sandy was left heartbroken, yearning for this sweet baby she had come to love so deeply. She never stopped thinking about Harry, holding on to the hope that one day their paths would cross again.
And in the most unexpected and beautiful turn of events—Harry has come back to Sandypaws! The reunion was nothing short of miraculous. Harry’s return proves that some bonds are simply meant to last forever.
But now Harry needs help. He had to undergo emergency surgery to remove one of his eyes and relieve the pain caused by dangerously high pressure. While he is adjusting to his new environment with courage and resilience, the costs are adding up quickly. Vet bills, medication, and ongoing care have placed a heavy financial strain on Sandy.
Our Sandy—the most fiercely loyal friend, the one who always has your back, offers a shoulder to lean on, and shows up when you need her most—would never ask for help herself. In fact, she has no idea we are doing this (she’d probably be mortified).
Please consider donating to the Harry Fund, no amount is too small and everything is so appreciated!!
Even without sight, Harry's days are still full of energy, cuteness and of course his endless enthusiasm for toys (he knows exactly where to find them!). His spirit hasn’t dimmed one bit.
