Hi -
Anyone who knows me knows my very long story of survival. For those who don't know me - I'll give you the short version.
On June 2nd, 2023, I collapsed at JFK airport after a flight from a job in LA. I would wake up over a month later in a nursing home with my left leg missing and my hands strapped to the bed. I was also using a trach to breathe, so I could not talk.
After a year in hospitals and nursing homes, I finally got home. I have a prosthetic leg now, and I'm on dialysis 3 days a week.
*UPDATE*
I am now doing dialysis at home 7 days a week which is much better on my body.
I am trying to finish getting my life back to "normal" and I need some help.
I'm trying to get back to work again, but my computer is 15 years old now and very out of date. My car needs repairs so I can actually be mobile again and independent. I also have some medical bills and general bills that are building up since I'm on disability and haven't worked since May of 2023.
I am currently working with some friends to start a very simple recording studio so I can get back to doing what I love. Step by step....
Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated and help me get back to my goal of working again. This way I can help out others and motivate other amputees and people facing medical issues themselves.
Pictured with me is Dr Derek Brinster - the incredible surgeon who saved my life at Lenox Hill.
