My dear friend, Carly Frith (on the right in the photo), is a wonderful person who has fallen into some hard times. She has been facing mounting medical issues, limiting her ability to work in home-based healthcare. Her company offers no PTO, no sick time, and no vacation pay, so a recent trip to the ER has limited her ability to make ends meet. On top of this, her roof is damaged, requiring significant repair. As a tough winter approaches, she also recently found out both her water heater AND her oven both died, meaning the bills are piling up with no relief in sight. Carly is a remarkably strong woman who has endured more than a soul should have to, and she has frequently been there for me when I’ve needed support through tough family times and trauma. The costs of all the repairs and replacements are tapping into resources she just doesn’t have. I don’t want her to worry about trying to fix an oven, water heater, AND roof while she’s trying to recover from her ailment. I beg people to be generous when she needs it the most. The stress levels she’s currently under are dangerous, so whatever anyone can spare to help lower that stress will be greatly appreciated. $5000.00 will replace the oven, pay for the water heater, and get repairs started on the roof.
