Our baby boy Buddy who I'm sure a lot of you have seen on my videos and streams (he is in my lap at some point literally every single stream) got really sick on Wednesday. He wouldn't eat, was hiding, and was generally weak. We took him to the emergency vet and expected his usual urinary issues but it turned out to be way more severe. He had very severe anemia (13% PCV) and was pretty critically ill. We're still not entirely sure what is causing this issue but he is being kept stable in the hospital until hopefully the cause is discovered.

All that being said, pet hospitalization is enormously expensive, especially when several life-saving treatments like transfusions are involved in addition to the very long extended stay, so we are asking anyone willing to help out with the medical costs. Its likely we will have even further costs past this based on how chronic a condition this ends up being, but I just thought to ask my community for assistance for our baby.
