Hey everyone! I am Keisha Ewing and I am making this on behalf of Jasmyne and Duncan McCoy. Here is their story about their little fighter, Noah Mathew McCoy, who was born prematurely on November 27th, 2024, not due until January 9th, 2025.

Hey everyone, meet our baby boy Noah Mathew McCoy. He was born 11-27-24 at 7:11 pm, weighing 3 lbs. 15 oz., and 17 inches long. He was an emergency C-section due to me having high blood pressure and then getting diagnosed with pre-eclampsia. The first 3 days he was at Mercy in the NICU in Mason City and got intubated, and they were observing him closely. By the 2nd/3rd day, they took the intubation out and he got a baby CPAP. Everything was going good; he was moving, fussing, and just being a little fighter. Then Friday afternoon, his pediatrician came and talked to us and come to their finding, he has 2 brain bleeds, so he got life-flighted to Iowa City NICU Friday night. We are so thankful that my mom, Rose, was with us at this time and she offered to go be with Noah so our baby boy wasn't alone until I could get released from the hospital. As soon as he got there, he has been comfortable, stable, and everything has been okay. He was stable when he left, just some of his numbers were concerning. He's a fighter. They were monitoring him to make sure he didn't have any seizures and he didn't have any and hasn't had any. Duncan and I are now in Iowa City with our little man and he is doing so good. We got to hold him for the first time and it was such a relief.

We want to help and support Jasmyne and Duncan and Noah. Being in Iowa City, their bills will pile up high, missing work, using gas money, lodging, and meals. Being new parents, we want to help guide them and support them in any way we can. Anything will help them. Even a share helps more than you know. Thank you all so much.
