Donate in Memory of Frank Gorog – Memorial Benches

With a heavy heart, we share the passing of Frank Gorog in March of 2025. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, known for his warmth, generosity, and adventurous spirit.

Frank spent over a decade living near Lake Thoreau, where he found peace in fishing and cherished moments with his wife, children, and grandchildren. To honor his memory, we would love to place a memorial bench at Lake Thoreau—a place that meant so much to him and where his loved ones can visit to remember and reflect.

Instead of flowers, we kindly ask for donations to help make this tribute possible. Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world to our family as we celebrate the incredible life Frank lived and the love he shared with so many. Prior to escaping communism and moving his family to America, Frank deeply loved his home town of Kosice and was hoping to go see all his friends and family in May. He was not able to make the trip but we would like to dedicate a bench to him there, where friends and family can visit or his favorite streets
