Support for Christy's battle GBM brain cancer and end of life care.

My name is Chad Robinson, and I'm putting this fundraiser together on behalf of my amazing wife Christy, along with our children Keagan Mayrs, Grady Mayrs and Caitlyn (Alex) Pagella.

On May 9th, 2025, Christy (52) was rushed to the ER due to speech and other complications. Within the first hour, our world changed when they discovered a 4.5cm tumor in Christy's front temporal lobe. Her brain was so swollen we were told she only had a few months to live. Four days later, we were blessed when the swelling subsided, and she bravely underwent a six-hour craniotomy. It was a successful resection, but pathology later came back from Mayo Clinic as Grade 4 Unmethylated Glioblastoma (GBM), the most aggressive brain cancer that exists. There is no cure for GBM, and Christy was given 12-15 months to live from the day of her diagnosis. Within the next 12-15 months, the tumor will grow back, causing her to lose speech, mobility, and her brain to swell. She will be spending what time she has left at home surrounded by her family and friends.

Christy has been recovering well since her surgery in May with some minor complications, doing the best she can with the news she was given. At this time, other than some mobility and memory issues, she is doing well. We cherish the good days we have with her knowing what is to come. An MRI scan is needed every two months to monitor the progress of her cancer and the tumor as it comes back. We have created this GoFundMe to help cover the out-of-pocket costs for the MRI scans, medications, treatments, and end-of-life care for Christy.

Christy is the heart of our family. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Soon to be grandma too! She is strong, beautiful, and lights up every room she walks into with her smile. One of the most selfless, loving, and giving people we know. She is a big part of our local community. Volunteering and participating in local events. Always offering a helping hand or just a shoulder for those in need. She has spent most of her life taking care of others. She deserves to focus on living and spending the time she has with her family. Now is our time to do everything we can to help her in this impossible time of need.
