Dominique De La Pena-Moreno Memorial Fund
Donation protected
To everyone who may not have heard the news, our sweet Dominique passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018.
The funeral to celebrate her beautiful life will be held on December 22, 2018 at 10am at Laurel Land Cemetery in Ft. Worth, Texas and further details regarding the funeral will be shared on this page.
Dominique was diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive form of brain cancer in 2013. She and her husband, Theo Moreno, created a beautiful life together made complete by their two daughters, Sophia, 6 years old, & Evelyn, 1 year old. Despite her diagnosis, Dominique and Theo would often go on mini adventures filled with hiking, camping, and unique foods. Dominique was also very close with her family including her father, Rudy, her sisters, Alex and Franchesca, and her brothers, Rudy Jr. and Daniel. She has joined her mother, Beatriz, in heaven.
Many have already called, text, and messaged asking how to help, so here it is.
As you are all aware, due to Dominique’s illness she has been unable to work for several years and with Theo being by her side and caring for their two daughters, he has taken leave without pay for several months– this has created a huge financial burden and I am hopeful we can all do something to alleviate some of that stress.
If you would like to donate, just click on the donate button and donate whatever you can. If you are not able to donate don’t forget you can still leave messages and comments for Theo, Sophia, and Evelyn to read.
