Dominica(Loubiere/Bellevue) R-Fund
On the night of Tuesday 19th, my homeland/island of Dominica was besieged by a devastated CAT 5, hurricane Maria. The eyes of the storm traversed the entire length of the island from south to north leaving behind unbelievable destruction. An evaluation of human fatalities and physical infrastructure is slowly being revealed. Unfortunately I found out that I lost an aunt, a cousin and best friend and his wife. My grandparents’ home is completely gone, in my immediate family we have 10 homes with the roof completely destroyed.
The island’s vegetation, electrical grid and phone communication is completely ruined and most importantly, food source was destroyed.
Dominica is an exporter of crops but it has been all destroyed
I am reaching out to you for some financial assistance so I can purchase and ship, dry nonperishable food and clothing to relatives on the island as soon as possible.
I want to thanks you in advance
