Hi my name is Dolly and I’m 13 years old. Fundraising has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started when I was just 4 years old. I’ve raised money for some amazing charities including ~ The Little Princess Trust  ~ I donated my hair twice and raised money to help children who have lost theirs through illness. The Royal British Legion  ~ supporting veterans and their families. SSAFA (The Armed Forces Charity) ~ helping serving personnel, veterans and their loved ones. NSPCC ~ protecting children and making sure every child has someone to turn to. I’ve always believed that if you can make a difference no matter how small you should try. Fundraising has taught me the importance of kindness, community and hard work and it’s something I’m really passionate about. Now I’ve been given the chance to take that passion even further. In 2027 when I’m 15 I will be travelling to Tanzania with Camps International for one month. While I’m there I’ll be working with local communities on projects that make a real difference from building classrooms and community facilities to supporting environmental and sustainability initiatives. I’ll be living in a rural village learning new skills and even training for my PADI Open Water Dive qualification as part of a marine conservation project. This won’t just change my life it will also benefit the people and communities I’ll be working with in Tanzania. To get there I need to raise £5,000 by May 2027. That’s a big challenge but I’m ready to work hard, fundraise creatively and reach out for support from family, friends and kind sponsors in the community. Every donation no matter how big or small will help me take one step closer to this dream and I’ll make sure to share updates and stories along the way. Thank you so much for supporting me.
