Hubud Team Covid-19 Support

Anyone who has walked through Hubud’s door over the last seven years knows how much Hubud’s team members mean to the community. 

To Hubudians, these heroes are not just staff and helpers, they are individuals who have come together to support a shared mission in fostering the community and taking care of the hub, allowing its people a space to grow and thrive. To many of us, they are not just people working behind the scene: they are friends. They are our Bali family whom we know we could always go home to, welcoming us with that familiar warm smile and open arms.

As the coronavirus ripple effect forced Hubud to cease operations, Hubud’s very own team members are now faced with difficult predicaments. The sudden closure of the space means the loss of 11 jobs, and in Bali, where most businesses are forced to remain shut, it might be months until they could find other jobs to carry them and their families over. 

Which is why, in the true spirit of the coworking community, we feel that it would be our turn to give our support in helping the team members navigate these difficult and confusing circumstances. If you feel like you - in one way or another - have been touched by Hubud, please consider contributing a small donation so we could make sure that our team members, these friends and family of ours, will be taken care of until the storm passes. 

All money raised will go directly to Hubud staff, with an aim to support those unable to find new employment for the next few months.
