Doberman needs help to walk please

Hi, my name is Jack. I have donated on this site a few times before so I thought I would give it a try in our time of need.

My doberman that I have had since a puppy (7 glorious years now) woke up friday morning and no longer had the use of her legs. A gentle happy dog that's normally so full of life and bounding around is now confined to a bed in the livingroom and if she needs to go out for a wee me and my wife have to use a set of slings to take her weight and carry her.

We have seen a specialist at the weekend and it's a fixable problem but will need an intense and long surgery on her spine to fix it.

We are asking for help because we can not cover the £5,500 alone and can't bear to see her like this. The insurance is underway but they will only cover half the cost of the £10k approx at best.

We are happy to provide any evidence of her problem and any progress that she makes along the way.
