Big Brothers Big Sisters

Hi! My name is Jessica Vitalis, and I'm the author of The Rabbit’s Gift. The story, which publishes with Greenwillow/HarperCollins on October 25th, explores how family and friendship impact my middle grade characters and how their actions impact the world around them. Although the story is fantasy, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve teamed up with an organization dedicated to bringing out the best in children in the real world: Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Middle grade kids from my regional branch (and their matches) will be guests of honor at my launch party, which will include an author talk and reading, the chance to pet and interact with live rabbits, and snacks! I have all of that covered, but books were a lifeline for me as a kid, and it would mean the world to me to be able to gift personalized copies of The Rabbit’s Gift to 100 kids from the club.
