Team Sierra (Sierra Bradley)

Hi, my name is Sierra Bradley. My parents are Jimmie and Cassandra Bradley and we live in St. Landry. I'm a first grader at Bayou Chicot Elementary. I was diagnosed with FSGS, which is a kidney disease, when I was 2 years old. I have been in and out of the hospital several times and had to get both of my kidneys removed when I was 4 years old. I have been on dialysis for 10 hours daily since then. I was also placed on the transplant waiting list. God answered our prayers on 8/19/14 when we got the call for my new kidney. I had my kidney transplant on 8/20/14 at Children's Hospital in New Orleans. I was in surgery for 5 hours before getting admitted to ICU. I was doing well the first 2 days, but now I'm showing signs that my disease has returned and taking over my new kidney. I had a biopsy on 8/26/14 to confirm my diagnosis. I am currently back in ICU due to excessive bleeding. After I'm discharged, my mom and I will have to stay at the Ronald McDonald House while I have Apheresis treatments 3 times weekly to try to get the disease under control or my new kidney will have to be removed. We will be there for an unknown amount of time, no less than 1 month. My family and I are asking for prayers for God to heal my body. We are also asking for monetary donations to help with living expenses, traveling expenses, and other unforeseen expenses. I am a child of God and have amazing faith that He will heal me.
