DME 13 Elite Goes to Nationals
Donation protected
DME Sports Academy's 13 Elite Team has earned a bid to Detroit, Michigan to compete in the USAV National Championship on June 28th.
We are seeking donations to help cover the travel expenses for this tournament. As you might imagine, this tournament will require serious fundraising to help families of these talented young athletes offset fees and travel expenses. We will be housing and providing meals for 10 players which can be quite expensive. Therefore, we would appreciate your consideration in providing a contribution to their team to help subsidize the cost associated with this level of competitive play.
Most of these girls have played together for 3 years, they practice at least 3 days a week, as a team, and most of them go to additional training on Friday nights when it is offered by DME Sports. These girls have grown not only on the court, but have become young ladies together. They care for the game and one another, always looking for ways to support each other. When the team first started together they weren't even ranked in the top 50, this year the girls competed and are currently ranked 8th in the state.
These girls are not only volleyball athletes, but student athletes. When they are off the court they work just as hard as on the court. The whole team is on the honor roll at their school, and they have study halls during away tournaments to further their academics.
DME stands for Dedicate, Motivate, and Educate. These girls are truly dedicated, motivated, and educated!
