Cancer Sucks

Hi. My name is Martina. My mom was diagnosed with bladder cancer in January 2023. We tried chemo at first but with her having multiple sclerosis (MS) she could not tolerate it. She had surgery in June to have her bladder removed along with her pelvic lymph nodes. The surgery went well and she went to a rehabilitation center to get her strength so she could come home. Unfortunately, things didn’t go well with rehab and she had to be rushed to the hospital where we found out the cancer had spread. It is inoperable and untreatable. I’ve been taking care of my mom since last summer. I was working from home but lost my job in March due to cutbacks. I’ve been getting by with unemployment but that’s about to run out. My mom is home with me now on hospice and I take care of her. I need help with upcoming bills so that I can continue to take care of my mom and not have to worry about the stresses of working on top of the already stressful situation that we face with my mom.
