Kelly's Memorial Fund

Our Beloved Mother, Kelly Lynn Apodaca (Crittenden), lost her battle with stage 4 cancer unexpectedly on Sunday, March 24th, 2024- less than 4 months after her diagnosis.

Kelly was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on November 27, 2023. Doctors gave her options and she chose to try chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the chemo was too hard on her body and after 2 rounds, she could not continue treatment. In only a matter of 2 months, Kelly went from being mobile and playing with her grandkids to not being able to leave bed without help.

Kelly loved reconnecting with friends and family from out of state, she enjoyed family time with her son and daughter and grandkids. Nothing brought Kelly more joy than spoiling her grandkids! Kelly touched many of the lives of all those who knew her, she was loved by so many of us.

We are devastated by Kelly"s loss and were not prepared for end-of-life expenses. We wish to give our Mother the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and to say our last goodbyes.

We are currently asking for donations to cover funeral and memorial costs. Any amount will have a positive impact during this time of grief. Memorial service tentatively to be held on Friday, April 26 in Lakewood, more details to follow.
