Mother's medical expenses

As a lot of my old friends know, my mother had multiple heart attacks in the year 2012. After many surgeries, she seemed to be doing good for a couple years after. Until the year 2015, her health took a drastic turn again. Since 2015, she has had multiple other heart attacks and surgeries. I was asked by her to keep it off social media for a while because she wanted to live a normal life... but now, things have become scary. It's 2017, and she just recently had another heart attack that made her have to abruptly quit her job. I was in the room after her last surgery when her cardiologist said "If you don't stop working immediately, you will die". Hearing those words bluntly come out of a doctor's mouth really hit me hard. Since my mom had to stop working, she's piling up with medical bills, lost her car, and cannot pay for any of her other bills. She also has another heart surgery scheduled for October. It can take 6 months to a year for her to get any sort of help from the government, and she hasn't heard anything. I'm in complete devastation over this. I want nothing more than for her to be helped and stay alive as long as possible. My son needs his Nana, and my sister and I need our mom. Anything will help.
