Desperately needing help with medical expenses

Hi there! My name is Katie Klein, I’m 39 years old, and live in Tucson, AZ. I’m a therapist who works with teens and adults. While I love my career, my worsening health issues are getting in the way of just about every area of my life, including the important therapy work I do. 

 I’ve struggled with chronic pain for many years, but about three years ago my symptoms started to worsen. I am now dealing with dizziness, migraines, tinnitus, tachycardia, nervous system issues, severe nerve pain in my legs and feet, brain fog, fatigue, and immense full-body pain. I have spent thousands of dollars out of pocket to see every doctor and specialist in Tucson, and everyone is coming up empty-handed. 

 I have a beautiful life that I would love to be more present for. I would like to also expand into motherhood, but my symptoms are so debilitating at times that I’ve had to put those plans on hold. I have now found a neurological specialist in Phoenix who believes he can help me; however, my insurance is not contracted with him. He is one of the best specialists in the country, but his fees are in the thousands and I’m unable to work with him without some financial support. Because of the hope and expertise this doctor offers, I am saving as much as I can to see him.
