Urgent Help Needed: Keep Our Family in Our Home
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind people that we have yet to meet,
We are incredibly lucky to be where we are and have worked hard to get here, but life has thrown us a curveball. After being the first and only renters through a trust, of this home we've loved for the past 8 years. Our new landlord has decided to sell. We are trying to raise $75,000 to put towards the loan we're pre-approved for so that we have a mortgage payment that will work for our income. We’re still trying other lenders searching every option we have, but we just can’t do it alone. We need your help to keep the place that we call home.
This home isn’t just a house. It's where we’ve set deep roots. For the past two years, I’ve been lucky enough to have found an amazing job working with, and for, wonderful people as a maintenance manager. I am currently enrolled and have been studying to get my contractor’s license to provide a better life for my family. With one goal, finally owning something that I can put my skills to work for our benefit. For the past 20+ years I have successfully been able to build out people's dreams to make their homes and lifestyles better. My incredible wife, Alexandra, has recently earned her Master’s in Administration and continues teaching math and science to 6th graders at LAUSD just minutes from our home. She’s working towards her dream of becoming a principal and giving back to our community in the biggest way possible. Our daughter, Claire is excelling in school, as well as being enrolled in 10+ hours of dance per week, and was picked to be on her dance studio’s competitive team. This home is everything to her future.
We moved here for the top-notch education and opportunities for our child. If we lose this home, we lose access to the very things that we have worked so hard for her future. Our goal is to give her as many opportunities possible for the life she chooses. This home is the foundation for that dream.
As a family we’ve always given back to others, whether through our community, clients, friends, or even strangers in need. We're in a situation and we’re humbly asking for help. We know times are tough, but anything you can contribute to help us keep our home would help. Your generosity will allow me to build something more, Claire to continue to thrive, Alexandra to pursue her dreams, and for our family to stay together in the home we’ve worked so hard to create.
