Help Me Protect My Mom’s Children & Break the Cycle of Domestic Violence ❤️

My mom was only 46 years old when we lost her—just one week before her birthday.

She spent years in a relationship marked by domestic violence, much of it mental and emotional. Our family watched someone we loved endure things no one should ever have to experience.

Now she is gone.

Her two youngest children, my siblings , only 9 and 10 years old, are left trying to understand life without their mom.

I’m asking for help because I am determined to give them what every child deserves: a safe, stable, loving home where they can heal, grow, and feel secure. I want to teach them that love should never hurt, control, frighten, or destroy you.

This is about breaking the cycle.

Domestic violence can leave behind fear, trauma, financial hardship, and instability long after the immediate danger has passed. My mom’s death has left our family with grief, unanswered questions, and two young children who now have to face a future without their mother.

I recently obtained temporary guardianship of my baby siblings. I’m doing everything I can to keep them safe, keep them together, surround them with family, and give them the stability they need during this incredibly difficult time.

They have already lost their mother.

I don’t want them to lose their sense of home, stability, and family, too.

We need help.

First, I want to thank everyone who donated to my uncle’s fundraiser for my mom’s cremation and our immediate needs. Your generosity helped us through the first days when we were overwhelmed by grief and uncertainty. We will never forget the kindness you showed our family.

But the financial burden did not end with the immediate expenses surrounding my mom’s passing.

I am now responsible for providing for two children while I am also six months pregnant. At the same time, I’m trying to be strong for my brother and sister and for our family as we grieve the sudden loss of one of the most important people in our lives.

I’m fundraising because I want to make sure these children have the basic necessities and stability they need while they adjust to their new reality.
I am also fundraising because anyone who knew my mother, either loved or at the very least respected her, because that woman right there was a solid, loyal, last of dying breed type woman . I feel like she definitely deserves the best celebration of life possible .

With that being said, first funds will help with:
Making sure we have venue, decor, food and what not for my mother's celebration of life and taking care of any unexpected costs that come with not only losing my mother but suddenly taking responsibility for two children.
Then if there is anything left over it will go towards doing whatever is needed to keep these babies minds off the fact that mom's never coming back and everything is different now.

The kids deserve a chance to simply be kids.

They should be thinking about school, their animals, friends, birthdays, activities, and their dreams—not adult problems, financial worries, or whether they are safe and secure.

I want something different for them.

They deserve to grow up knowing what healthy love looks like. They deserve respect, safety, consistency, and a family that will always stand beside them.

Even a $5, $10, or $20 donation can make a difference. If you aren’t able to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean just as much to us.

I’m not asking anyone to fix our family or take away our pain. I’m asking for help giving two children a safe foundation while they grieve their mother and begin a new chapter they never asked for.

I can’t bring my mom back. I can’t erase what they have experienced. But I can fight every day to make sure Chevelle and Trevor know they are loved, protected, supported, and never alone.

I can help them break the cycle.

For my mom.
For my baby brother and sister.
For our family.
For every person affected by domestic violence.

Please help us give these children a safe, bright future, as well as myself, somewhat of a peace of mind while I try to navigate this sudden tragic nightmare, and last but not least, give my mother a proper memorial that she deserves.

❤️ Donate if you can. Share if you can’t. And please keep our family in your prayers.
