One week ago, Derrick Boles unexpectedly had a stroke. He was rushed to St. Als where he has been in the ICU for the past week. Unfortunately, Derrick suffered a second stroke while in the hospital. Derrick is starting to make progress, but it is going to be a long battle. He is expected to be in the hospital for at least one month and possibly longer. Derrick is self-employed so he is unable to contribute to the family's finances indefinitely.
