This Go Fund Me Site is for my good friend And colleague Derek Coulter, Vikki and their son Ryker. Derek is going to have surgery soon to remove a tumor behind his right eye.

Derek and Vikki are from Ontario and will not have the benefit of family around for financial and emotional support. I am calling on all my Bartlett brothers and sisters as well as all of our other friends and family to step up and show our support.

We don’t know how long the recovery time will be and it is a risky procedure. I believe that Derek is more than strong enough to pull this out but he will be facing the reality of less income at a crucial time for him and his young family. Ryker is less than a year old and I want to make sure there is as little burden as possible put on the family while Derek is getting better.

This is important to me and all of us. We have a chance to come together and support a great friend, colleague and his family. I don’t think of it as an expense but rather an opportunity for us all to step up and offer whatever we can to make life better for a deserving family facing a very challenging time.

I would do it for anyone of you and I would like to think that sentiment would be reciprocated if I ever needed it.
