Derek and Whitney White and family
Donation protected
On the evening of March 3rd, 2025, a fire started in the garage of Derek and Whitney’s home. It quickly rose to the attic where it spread to the rest of the home. Luckily, they were awake and able to get their children and pets out of the house safely. Unfortunately, the fire, smoke, and water damage has totaled their house and everything in it, along with their new family car that they were unable to get out of their garage. The car wasn’t even licensed yet.
Thankfully, insurance will cover the major losses, but it won’t replace things like clothing, pots and pans, furniture, and many sentimental items that are irreplaceable.
As many know, this process takes time. The house has to be gutted and rebuilt while they find temporary housing for the next 6-12 months. There are things they’ll need to replace now to go on with their every day lives.
Derek and Whitney would never ask for help, (we did get their permission to start this!) but sometimes life gives you lemons, and you need a village to help you make lemonade.
Please consider being a part of their village by making a monetary donation of an amount that fits your budget.
