Dental Brigade Service trip to Greece

Hi! My name is Natalie Navarro, and I’m the President of the Pre-Dental Society at CSUSM. This upcoming June 2025 I have the incredible opportunity to volunteer in Athens, Greece, with UCLA Dental Brigade. This program focuses on providing much-needed dental and medical care to asylum seekers and refugees who face immense challenges accessing healthcare.

The refugee crisis in Greece has left over 100,000 asylum seekers without adequate healthcare. Many refugees face long waiting times, limited transportation, and language barriers that prevent them from getting the care they need. During this trip, I’ll be assisting alongside dental professionals to deliver essential services, including oral health treatments, cleanings, and preventative care.

Any size donation will make a difference. Your contribution will go directly toward medications, supplies, fees for local office space, translators, and equipment. All volunteers pay out-of-pocket for travel, ensuring donations go straight to those in need.
