Defibrillators saves lives

Hello my names lorenda and I'm the mother of kye who was featured on 24hrs in a&e episode 3 2023 my son had a cardiac arrest at a football training session 18th october 2021. A fit and health boy that's been playing football since 3 years old was now fighting to get his heart started. Kye had cpr started on the scene and also the sports facilty had its own defibrillator these immediate actions helped my son until paramedics came.

kye was very fortunate to survive but unfortunately many haven't. Basic knowledge of hands on cpr is crucial to someone whose heart has stopped until you can get a defib to them. Since this has happened many people have asked me about cpr sessions and how to use a defib. I would also love to help supply either a travelling sports teams a community group or place that has many people within it with a defibrillators this can happen to anyone of any age I never thought it would happen to my 18 year old boy at the time. One defibrillator can cost at least £1230 pound a life is worth so much more.
