De’Aruis Dawaun Rogers, the son of Shemekia Goodwill and Bryan Thompson, was tragically murdered in Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday, May 6, 2022. De'Aruis, aka "Dee," was full of life and lived as such. Due to his unexpected and tragic passing, we were not prepared to bury our son so early in life. We, as parents, expect for our children to bury us. However, God had other plans. Because "Dee" had no life insurance policy to pay for his burial, the family is seeking help. All funds donated will be exclusively used to pay for his transport home and homegoing service.
