David Nisbett Memorial Fundraiser
Donación protegida
I am Alicia, I met the Nisbett family through my husband, who worked with David in the US Navy Seabees. We became fast friends at the beginning of my first stay at home while my husband deployed and became family by the end, Brandie and David like siblings and Evangeline a sweet and spunky niece that brought so much light into peoples lives.
Evangeline was diagnosed on the autistic spectrum at a young age. This diagnosis brought with it extra costs to help Evie to adapt to some of the differences in how we all perceive and interact in the world. David and Brandie love Evangeline madly and devoted any and all effort they could muster to providing her with the necessary care.
David lost his battle with depression on August 8th, 2022. Brandie will be carrying a heavier burden than ever after this loss and I would like to raise whatever possible in order to support her and Eve during this difficult time. Watching Brandie advocate fiercely for her daughter, while having patience and understanding, was inspiring to me and I will always be grateful to have witnessed it.
David was a brother to all of his fellow Bees and those that he welcomed into his life, myself included. Please consider donating anything that you can. Donations will contribute to child care and any other unforeseen costs during such a tumultuous time.
