David & Marie Rowlands House Fire Recovery fund

Donation protected
On Thursday, Jan.17th the  home of  David & Marie Rowland  caught on fire. We  do not know the extent of the damage to their home as of yet. The fire was started with an electric range that had been in their basement for years. Marie was in the basement on the phone with David when the stove ignited. When David got to the house the basement was engulfed in flames and black smoke was coming out of the upstairs. He met Marie coming out of the house as he was entering. They both ran back inside to save their precious little fur baby Colt. Praise God they all made it out safely. Marie was sent to the ER for  smoke exhalation where soot was found in her lungs. She was then transported to  VCU in Richmond. She is currently on the Burn Unit in the Critical Care Hospital. She has a breathing tube and has been heavily sedated.
The doctors do expect her to make a full recovery. This will just take some time to slowly wean her off the breathing tube. This will be done gradually as her lungs and throat heal. For those of you that know my precious sister and brother in law.....they are both truly gifts from God. They are the kindest and most giving  people and never ask for anything in return. David & Marie have touched so many lives in a positive way and don't even realize it. My family can never put  into words how thankful we are for the outpouring of prayers, love and support that has been shown for David & Marie through out this horrific ordeal. We all know that their faith in God and everyone's prayers will  get them through this difficult time. So many of you have texted, called and sent messages wanting to do something to help this beautiful couple. David & Marie do have insurance but as we all know it will not cover everything. They will be facing a lot of expenses to come especially medical bills. Right now they don't know what will be salvageable from the fire and all the smoke damage. They waked out of this fire with their lives and the clothes they were wearing. I am creating this page to try and help them financially so they wont have that worry on them. Please consider giving  a donation to help them get back on their feet again. God Bless and thank you all for everything!    Love,
