Dave's Wheelchair Ramp

Dave Hockett has been hospitalized/in rehab since the middle of February. On February 22, he had the first of TWO open heart surgeries within a five week period. His first valve became seriously infected, requiring a second surgery, and continuous IV antibiotics for nearly a month. He became very weak, and lost nearly 50 lbs. His wife Margaret has not worked since his first surgery, 3.5 months. Dave will finally be coming home this week, and his wife will be returning to work part time, as her (unpaid) FMLA has ended.

He has made progress while in rehab, but remains quite weak. They need a wheelchair ramp built at their home, so that he can safely make it into their house.

Please consider contributing to the cost of this ramp. Any extra money raised will go to paying for the medical bills and other expenses accumulated during this time.
