DARE TO SOAR - Celebrating The Forgotten Heroes

Hi My name is Yvonne Michéle and Director of Global Empowerment Movement (GEM) Non Profit. At GEM we are fundraising to provide impactful workshops called "CELEBRATING THE FORGOTTEN BLACK WOMEN HEROES" - DARE TO SOAR. In our unique Well-being Programmes we support women in the local community who have experienced trauma.

Our goal through this fundraising will help us to provide practical solutions to help women and girls to overcome emotional challenges brought about from domestic violence, sexual assault and other harmful practices and the life skills and tools to increase confidence and self esteem, therefore allowing them to rebuild their lives and have a sense of well being. Our ethos is to provide healing and restoration for women who have experienced and suffered isolation and any form of abuse using conversation, music, and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) strategies as the vehicle to bring about change.

The funds raised will help us to subside the cost of the workshop for those women who are experiencing extreme financial hardship and help them to benefit from the tools to take them from surviving to THRIVING.

With your help and support we can give more women access to Therapeutic Tools, Talking Therapy, Inspiration and support to overcome barriers, improve confidence, self-esteem and help women to explore they natural gifts and talents.
