Dapper University is a group of well dressed, successful, positive, young men who initially formed to change the typical negative stereotypes of black men through imagery and helping our youth see that they are not definied by those stereotypes. Dapper University seeks to build the community starting with grooming a troubled demographic; our young men, both inside and out. There is a focus on style because we truly believe that people react to appearance first and how you look can directly change your outlook, views and confidence of self.  However, we recognize that being a gentleman is much deeper than a suit. Dapper is an acronym for Dress.Attitude.Pride.Plan.Education.Respect.     
We prepare them to make a great 1st, 2nd and 3rd impression.

Money raised will be used toward educational materials, attire to outfit young men near and far, and hosting community events.

We are currently working with the Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club to host a back to school community bash(August 27 ,10AM-2PM). This event includes free school supplies, haircuts, ties with seminar, food, a DJ, community resources, and great family fun. This is an event for the WHOLE community to send our kids back to school with encouragement and positive attitudes. THIS is how we help build a strong community!
