Dan's Stolen Camera Equipment

LET’S HELP DAN!
Recently, my brother Dan’s car was broken into while he was bringing his camera equipment back to school in Duluth. The person stole his entire collection of cameras that he had spent 8+ years working to save for: (1) a Canon 7D + 4 lenses (2) a Sony DSLR + lens (3) a GoPro Hero4, and (4) waterproof camera housing, and several memory cards. In total, $3,300 was taken from him.
Dan started medical school last year and will be living only on student loans until he finishes school - He has no way to replace what was stolen for 6 more years. A police report was filed, and after several weeks nothing has turned up. After checking pawn shops, Craigslist and eBay, my family and I are lost for ideas on how to help.
Anyone that knows Dan knows that photography is his passion. His camera was his sole possession that gave him a way to relieve stress while in medical school, and anyone who knows him well knows that he carried it with him everywhere. Beyond receiving stress, Dan used his camera to support the Duluth community by capturing the beauty of Lake Superior’s North Shore and sharing his artwork.
This person didn’t just steal camera equipment; they took a HUGE part of Dan’s life away that he is unable to replace.
All efforts to find the stolen camera have been exhausted, and this is why I am reaching out asking for YOUR help.
We are trying to raise $3300 to replace what was stolen. Your generous donation will go directly towards replacing what was stolen, and returning to Dan his photography passion.
