Please join us for the 2nd year of the Daniel Megahey 5-A-Side Memorial Cup.

Taking place Sunday 27th October at Drom Soccer Park, home of Salthill Devon F.C.

From 1pm to 8pm.

This event is the RAFFLE page for the event – all proceeds of the raffle go to the Brain Tumor Foundation.

The Brain Tumor Foundation – BTF guides and supports families when their lives have been touched by a brain tumour. This is a charity that was close to Daniel’s heart and the one that he chose to support when he ran a marathon in 2020 with his friends Rory & Ross Elwood. Because of Covid they were unable to run it in New York that year, but instead ran it in Galway. This year his team consists of the Elwood family: dad Stuart and brothers Ross, Rory & Roan with their friend John Morrison, will be running the marathon in NYC in Daniel’s name whilst raising money for the BTF.

The main event is also a fundraiser for the Galway Hospice Foundation.

The Galway Hospice Foundation – where Daniel spent the last few weeks of his life being looked after by the incredible mutli-disciplinary team at the hospice. This team enables the Hospice Foundation to continue to provide care to improve the quality of life of people suffering life limiting illness, and to support the person and their family.
