Support Dan's journey to recovery

Dear humans, I'm Andrea, a friend of Dan and Jen Halldorson, but I'm humbly representing all of you during this difficult time.

As most of you already know, Dan has been diagnosed with a rare type of cancer called Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumor (MPNST) on his right foot. Treatment will involve the amputation of  his leg below the knee, an operation that would need to happen very soon.

Dan is one of the most uplifting, bright and joyful spirits I've ever known and we all know he will get through this, but the recovery will be a long and difficult journey....and expensive. That's why we are raising money to help this beautiful family to cover all the costs that will appear. Some of the expenses we hope to cover are:

- Time off work (Dan is a contract worker which makes difficult any paid leave).
- Ongoing mortgage.
- Jen is on maternity looking after the amazing Ari (5 months old!)
- Renovations around the house to make it accessible and comfortable in this new circumstances.
- A car that Dan is able to drive with a prothesis.
- Numerous trips to Sydney.
- Getting him the BEST prothesis he can get!
- Lots of take away food, wine and beers :)
