Dan Mace's Cancer Benefit

We created this account for our friend Dan Mace.  Dan was recently diagnosed with colon cancer which has metastasized to his liver.  The doctors have told him his cancer is in a Stage 4. He is currently not a surgical candidate until the doctors can assess whether or not the chemotherapy will be effective.  Dan did have surgery to remove several inches of his colon to attempt to remove what cancer is there.  He will start aggressive chemotherapy on Tuesday, April 10, to try to rid his liver of as many as 8 tumors.  Dan currently works at Siouxland Community Health Center and has health insurance, but there is no doubt his medical and living expenses will be extensive.  We are asking anyone to please donate to help him during this tough time.  Dan is a friend to all who meet him and has given us all so much over the years.  We are hopeful many people will find it in their hearts to give to him right now.  We thank you in advance for your donations, prayers, positive vibes, and support for Dan.
