Damien’s Garden

Dear Friends,

None of you were surprised when I told you that in lieu of a formal ceremony or a funeral, that we would instead have a celebration of Damien’s life at our home.

Those who are able to, please join us on the 31st March.

All of you agreed that a native garden with a nod to the desert landscapes of this country that Damien so adored, would be a restorative gesture, one that he would love. You are welcome to contribute plants (think Xanthorrea, Banksia, Casuarina, Lomandra, Anigozanthos, Poa ….) come and plant them if you wish, on the 31st or anytime - the gate will be open.

So many of you live far from us today and have asked how you can participate in Damien’s Garden ….

This is the best I could come up with. I hope it makes it easier for you to feel closer as you and we remember and grieve the loss of the best person I ever met.
