Help Dale Cavalier Fight Cancer

This summer (2018) Dale started having issues with his left leg and arm, later followed by his balance and coordination being off. The family suspected he had a mild stroke, and he went to St. Cloud Hospital for testing and medical attention. In the end of July 2018, after many tests, the news of stage 4 colon cancer shocked Dale and his family and friends. The cancer has metastasized to his lungs and brain. He was scheduled to start radiation to the brain at the end of August, but it was brought to an abrupt halt when he was informed that he would need brain surgery to have the tumor removed before any treatment could be done. The surgery is scheduled for September 27th. The plan is to recover from surgery in South St. Paul with his family. He will meet with his oncologist in the second week of October to schedule radiation to the brain to treat any cancer cells or portion of the tumor that could not surgically be removed, and to start chemotherapy.
As you are all aware, cancer is very expensive. Cancer wrecks havoc on the victim's emotions, body, mind, soul, and finances. Dale is retired from the United States Post Office. Due to unfortunate circumstances, he receives less than half of his pension and was planning to apply for jobs to supplement his meager portion of the monthly pension. Unfortunately, because of this diagnosis, he is no longer able to supplement his income with a job. Cancer requires a lot of the victim's time (appointments and treatments), physical and mental energy, and health. The money raised from this campaign will go towards medical expenses, travel expenses (he receives treatment in St. Paul and St. Cloud), and daily living expenses.
