Pictured is our 2 month old (he was born 6 weeks prematurely so he is 44 weeks actual) son Dakota Elwood Robert Smith II. He was admitted to the PICU at Harrisburg UPMC on 2/19/2024 for retractions, congestion and vomiting. Since then, he has been staying in the hospital with mom right by his side fighting with him. On 2/28/2024 he went into cardiac arrest and he had to be resuscitated. He was then immediately transfered via Life Lion to where he is currently staying in the PICU at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. He is now on a ventilator and is being sedated, labs drawn every hour, x-rays being done numerous times every day, and many, many more scans and tests every single day.

Since everything that has been going on we are not sure how we are going to fund the medical expenses throughout his stay here. Any money donated will be put towards our baby boy's medical expenses to ensure a full recovery.
