Dakhil's Medical School Application Fund

Hey good people! As you may know, my family and I have been on a journey toward medical school for the past five years. My primary goal is to provide care to underrepresented groups who've grown up not seeing a representation of themselves in the medical field and found it difficult to trust physicians. My desire is to serve my community and be an inspiration to those who may also aspire to enter the medical field.

After completing all medical school prerequisites with a 4.0 GPA and earning an 80th percentile MCAT score, I've begun applying to a broad group of medical schools. There are fees along every step of this process - from the primary application to secondary applications for each school, deposits upon any acceptance to a school, travel for some interviews, and more. In the past, the average medical student has typically applied to 15 schools to secure one acceptance. This has increased to 25 to 30 schools for the same acceptance rate in recent years. This part of the process requires a massive leap of faith and is why my family and I are asking for your support with the next step in this incredible journey.

Careful calculations put this financial need at upwards of $4500. Any amount you are willing/able to donate would be greatly appreciated.
