Hello beautiful people!
First off, thank you for even bothering to visit this page. Have you ever had a dream and realized money was the only thing holding you back?
I have been accepted into an environmental journalism and travel writing internship in South Africa for the month of June in 2014. As most of you know I am extremely passionate about the environment and traveling (I even want to have my own traveling show
someday) and although this opportunity makes me want to explode with excitement, thinking about financing this quest is dragging me down.
Here is why:
Flight = $1,500
Passport = $150
Program fee = $1,300 (includes living there & 3 meals a day)
Extra Costs = $500
I am basically asking for at least the flight to be covered. As a full-time student at Arizona State University, you can imagine how hard it is to save when you are worrying about buying $200 textbooks and my part-time job will not be enough to cover these costs so I am asking YOU for help.
Updates with my experiences during my environmental journalism internship will be posted up on my blog, Discovering with Daisy
If you want more information about my internship or have any questions for me please reach out.
So HELP SEND DAISY TO SOUTH AFRICA!
Thank you for all your support as always! Much love.
