My dad lost his home because of the devastating
effects from Hurrican Harvey.   The storm's winds of 130mph+ have left him without a home, and very few options as locals in the area try to rebuild the community.

My dad was a victim of the downturn in the oil field and, in his early 60s, resorted to living in a R.V. to save cost and live in a community and area that he truly enjoyed.  He lived on Port Aransas in a R.V. that he called home for the last 5 years.   

The R.V. was covered by insurance, but unfortunatly he still had a note on it.  After all is said and done, he will be left with little if not nothing to try to rebuild his life.

What I am requesting is money to help him rebuild after this traumatic event.  He will need money to help get him through the next few weeks, as well as a down payment on a new R.V.  The next few weeks will be hard, but by giving him the opportunity to find a new home, he will have a chance of getting things back to normal sooner.
