"Cysters" for Chris
35 years ago our mother died from Polycystic Kidney Disease. She was unable to receive a kidney transplant which was very rare then. Our brother, Chris Daniels, inherited PKD and we are trying to get donations to pay for the after care and expenses needed for a kidney transplant. He has a very good chance of getting a kidney in 1-3 years through Ochsners Hospital in New Orleans. Ochsners Hospital is currently performing 4 kidney transplants a week. He is on the kidney wait list there. We wish to honor our mother and save our brother's life with this wonderful gift of a kidney transplant. All donations will go directly to his care and expenses should he receive this wonderful life saving gift. Otherwise all donations will go directly to the PKD foundation to find a cure for PKD in our mother's honor.
Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is a genetic disease passed from affected patient to their child causing uncontrolled growth of cyst in the kidneys eventually causing kidney failure. 600,000 Americans are affected by this disease.
ALL DONATIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
